Sign Installer — Take Pride in Putting Your Work on the Map
If you've ever stepped back from a finished install, looked up at it, and felt that quiet pride of a job done right — keep reading.
We're hiring a full-time, qualified Sign Installer. We're not looking for someone to punch a clock. We're looking for the kind of installer who notices when something's off by half an inch, who treats a customer's storefront like it's their own, and who'd rather do it right the first time than do it twice.
If that sounds like you, you're going to fit in here.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing a wide range of signs — channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, dimensional letters, and more
- Operating bucket trucks, lifts, and other equipment safely and confidently
- Reading site surveys and shop drawings, then turning them into reality on the wall
- Wiring, mounting, and troubleshooting illuminated signage
- Representing Custom Graphics Inc. on the customer's property — you're often the only face they see, so how you carry yourself matters
- Traveling overnight a few times a month for out-of-town jobs. You'll be home most nights and almost every weekend.
Who We're Looking For
- Solid experience installing signs — or comparable trade experience (electrical, construction, welding, fabrication) where you've learned to work with your hands and your head
- Comfortable working at heights and operating lifts
- Happy to work outside all year round
- Clean driving record; CDL or willingness to obtain it is a plus
- Mechanically and electrically inclined — you don't panic when something doesn't go to plan
- Someone who shows up on time, finishes what they start, and doesn't need to be told twice
- Trustworthy enough to send to a customer site alone, sharp enough to handle what comes up while you're there
If you're the kind of person who's been told "you're too picky" — we probably consider that a compliment.
What We Live By
These aren't poster words for us. They're how we hire, and how we decide who stays.
- Trustworthy — We say what we'll do, and we do what we say.
- Committed — We don't quit when it gets hard. We dig in.
- Excellent — "Good enough" usually isn't. The bar is the customer's expectations, plus a little more.
- Innovative — There's almost always a smarter way. We're listening if you've got one.
- Flexible — Every job is a little different. We adapt without complaining about it.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay based on experience (range: $25-30/hr — hiring manager to fill in)
- Health, dental, vision
- Paid time off, holidays
- Retirement / 401(k)
- Per diem and lodging covered for overnight travel
- Company truck, tools, and equipment provided
